Our activities online are designed to improve your health, performance and personal fulfilment … helping you thrive during times of isolation and social distancing.

While we cannot see you in person, we would love for you and your family to join us in one of the sessions below to stay active, have fun and keep connected.

Most programs are completely free and available to anyone – you don’t need to be a gym member, student or staff of VU – we are inviting everyone in the community to join in.

Kids and adults sessions are available. Join in as a family or select the sessions that suit you best.

Virtual Team Training is a fun but challenging session run by a Personal Trainer that targets different areas of the body. Each person works at their own pace, making it perfect for beginners through to the advanced, with different progressions available for each exercise.

The program will change week to week, so there is no chance of getting bored. You'll be part of an awesome group, with every member striving towards their own health and fitness goals.

We'll keep you inspired while you are living, working, and keeping active all in your own home.

Sessions will run for 40 minutes, download the Virtual Team Training Schedule (PDF, 88 KB).

The Kids' Blast Online Program will offer your family the opportunity to be active while you are at home.

Our qualified coaches will run live and pre-recorded session that will focus on having a blast, keeping fit and healthy, and learning some new skills! Join an amazing group of kids that want to keep fit and active and share in the fun of being part of our online team together. The sessions are aimed at primary-school-aged children.

Join our Victoria University community for the Push Up Challenge. We’re teaming up with our friends at Headspace for this 21-day challenge, as we focus on our own and others' mental health.

As we are all spending more time at home, physically distanced from one another, it is more important than ever to find ways to keep connected and active. There is a correlation between exercise and feeling good, just as there is with connecting with others. So we are calling on students, staff and community members to start or join a team, and become part of the broader Victoria University community for this event.

We invite everyone – University sport reps, social sport players, fitness-centre members, virtual team trainers, and elite-level athletes – to get on board! If you haven't been part of our programs before we still want you; this is open to all and free

Push for better with Victoria University and find out more.

While we are unable to play sport together, let's bring it online. Join one of our FIFA or 2K tournaments and play against other members of your VU community for the ultimate glory of victory!

We are open to suggestions of other games too. We are planning to run tournaments on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and earlier consoles if necessary, so no one is left out. Please register your interest by providing some personal details below, as we will use them to design our competitions in the best way possible.

We'd love to have as many players as we can, so spread the word and help us keep everyone connected at a time when it is needed most. When everyone's responses are in, we will contact you all with further details. Register here.

Running or walking can significantly improve physical and mental health.

As a form of aerobic exercise, running or walking can reduce stress and improve heart health. No matter where you are or what your fitness abilities, let's run or walk together separately, share our achievements and support each other during these difficult times.

Join the club and connect with others – and don't forget to give each other kudos!

To help basketball players stay active in a safe and healthy way, HomeCourt has unlocked all mobile-app features for free till the end of April.

HomeCourt uses just your iPhone or iPad to capture and analyse how you play – from your shots, to your dribbling, to your movements. Integrating NBA-backed instruction with engaging, guided workouts powered by AI, you'll learn new skills in a way that feels less like training and more like a video game.

Suitable for adults and kids.
