KINN is excited to announce it is partnering up with Humane Society International, Forest Media Network and the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria to organise Victoria's first edition of the Threatened Species Children’s Art competition.

Children from 5-12 years old in Victoria are invited to unleash their creativity while learning about our threatened species. With this competition, we aim to inspire and encourage the next generation of environmental leaders.

With a new All Abilities Category and some amazing prizes to be won, KNN encourage any kids to participate. This can be done individually or as a collective art piece. You can also organise an activity around it, together finding out which species are threatened in Victoria (resources on website) followed by drawing, painting, sketching, cutting and pasting or any other way you want. Parks Victoria has become an official sponsor of the Threatened Species Children's Art Competition. This year there is an All Abilities category and Parks Victoria has offered a very generous one night’s accommodation at Wilson’s Promontory, Tidal River in one of their cabins (accessible if required) for the “Most Inspiring All abilities prize”.
