Fitness for Fun offers a Special Needs program to enable children with disabilities to access a fun and engaging environment.
We are very open in the use of space, and are happy to accommodate different needs.
We run one-on-one private lessons, customised group classes and of course are happy to accommodate students with minimal needs into our standard timetabled classes. We can accommodate a range of different conditions/disabilities, both physical and mental.
One-on-one session are $35 for a half hour and $45 for a 45 min class. The price of group bookings are largely dependent on the requirements of each group, and the coach to student ratio we’d need to run the session. All private group classes are organised through a discussion with the Special Needs Coordinator, and start at a minimum of $60 for 2-3 students ad go up from there. For all group classes carers and parents are more than welcome to join in (and can help reduce the need for extra coaches). We are also happy to accommodate other health professionals into the space to run their own classes or programs for clients.
Whether they are looking for physical rehabilitation, to push their limits, or just have fun bouncing on a trampoline, we are flexible enough to cater for a wide range of needs. We have a number of Special Needs coaches with various backgrounds (such as Occupational Therapy and Exercise Physiology) and strive to pair our students with an appropriate coach depending on their experience and the Childs needs.
All equipment is provided. All that is required is loose clothing for the child to move about in, and a drink bottle to keep them hydrated.
