Access Swimming Lessons
Our Access Swimming Lessons classes provide opportunities for people with additional needs to develop their swimming and water safety skills in a one on one class tailored specifically to their needs and capabilities.Participants are encouraged to understand and enjoy the aquatic environment safely, whilst instruction of skills is adapted to suit the individual participants abilities.
Our Access classes are facilitated by teachers that hold AustSwim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (TSW) and AustSwim People with Disabilities (PWD) qualifications.
This program is suitable for people of any age that have additional needs. These classes are available to people that have additional needs such as learning or intellectual disabilities, physical impairments, behavioural issues and extreme fear of water.Classes run for 30 minutes and have a 1:1 Teacher / Child ratio. These classes are offered at both Mill Park Leisure and Whittlesea Swim Centre.

Gym Membership options are available for people with a disability or other additional needs. All membership options include Health Assessments, Program Starts and Reassessments.
