The Victorian Electric Wheelchair Sports spring/summer season will launch on the 14th of September.

Run by the Victorian Electric Wheelchair Sports Association (VEWSA), the season consists of three sports - hockey, balloon soccer and rugby league. The program is specifically designed for electric wheelchair users.

VEWSA aims to provide a social but competitive experience for all players.

The summer program is a great way to make new friends, build confidence, improve leadership skills and most importantly, have fun. It is open to all ages and all genders. Beginners are welcome!

When: Sundays fortnightly, starting 14th September

Where: Aquahub, 11 Civic Square, Croydon

Time: 1pm - 4pm

VEWSA is run entirely by volunteers and attracts players from all over Melbourne, including some regional areas. If you use an electric wheelchair and love sports, contact Grace to find out how you can join in the fun!
