Supported by Blind Sports Victoria, the City of Darebin and David Connolly, the Preston Lions Football Club is conducting two six week junior football (soccer) programs for children who are vision impaired between the ages of 5 and 12 years.
Siblings of participants are welcome to join, and if children aged 13 - 15 years are interested in participating, the club will assess on an individual basis whether they can be involved in the program.
The first program runs from Sunday May 18th until Sunday June 22nd, between 10am and 11am
The second program runs from Sunday July 20th until Sunday August 24th, between 10am and 11am
Participants can sign up for one or both six week programs
Participants are required to wear general sports attire, football boots and shin gaurds, and must complete and return the registration form to get involved.
