Fishcare Victoria is a community based not-for-profit organisation promoting responsible and sustainable attitudes and practices amongst recreational anglers and the wider community.
Fishcare rely on the hard work of their dedicated volunteers to bring fishing clinics to people with a disability, so everyone can enjoy fishing. Fishing clinics are held at Launching Way, Patterson River, Station Pier, Port Melbourne and Jack Roper Lake, Broadmeadows, and are open to people of all abilities. Cost is a gold coin donation to cover the cost of bait, fishing line and equipment maintenance, with all equipment provided. Carers or families of people with a disability are required to come along also. Numbers are limited, so call Jacinta to get involved and for more information.
