The DSSA (Down Syndrome Swimming Australia) National Swimming Championships are being held at The Centenary Pool, Brisbane on the 24th and 25th of August 2019.

The championships are held every two years to provide an unique opportunity for all swimmers with DS, who are over the age of 12, to compete against other swimmers with DS only. Additionally, this competition supports and enables access to the various swimming pathways available to our swimmers such as Swimming Australia clubs and affiliates, Sports Inclusion Australia and Special Olympics.

This year 70 swimmers from Australia and 6 from New Zealand will come together in the pool and celebrate their achievements with a Championship dinner on the Saturday night.

The Championships will commence at 9 am on Saturday 24th August.
