Perspective Shift is a new documentary series now showing on SBS On Demand. In it, we see three highly successful people in the creative arts industry who happen to have disabiliites. Each 30-minute episode focuses on one individual excelling in an area of the arts, exploring their craft and their life experiences.

The show's producer, Genevieve Clay-Smith, said: “I see many shows with people with disability in positions where they are trying to get ahead, there’s more to the narrative – I wanted to see a show which truly celebrates the accomplishments of people with disability by telling stories in a position of empowerment and showcasing people making wonderful contributions to the world both professionally and personally.”

Perspective Shift follows Daniel Monks, an actor who wrote and starred in the film Pulse, Prue Stevenson, a leading visual arts talent in Australia, and Jana Castillo, one of Australia's foremost female contemporary dancers.

You can watch all the episodes now on SBS on Demand (email registration required).
