Dyson Heppell and Paralympian Don Elgin join forces to tear up the catwalk at Scleroderma Victoria’s Annual Fashion Parade!
Dyson Heppell is an Ambassador for Scleroderma Victoria and states:
“I’m a bit apprehensive about getting up on the catwalk for the first time, but it’ll all be good fun, lots of laughs and raising money for a good cause. My family has been directly affected by it, so it is a cause close to my heart having my Oma battle through the disease that ultimately led to her passing away”.
Don Elgin is a Paralympic amputee athlete who represented Australia in athletics at four World Championships, three Paralympic Games and two World Cups before retiring in 2008. He says:
“I was approached by an associate at Scleroderma Victoria to be part of this event and model and I was more than happy to help. Scleroderma can manifest itself in many ways, including the loss of limbs, so it is something that I can directly relate to and more than happy to help raise money for.”
