Clubs and Associations

Being welcoming and inclusive is not only great for players, coaches, umpires and the larger community, it is brilliant for your club and/or association. It can help your club/association grow membership, engage more players, volunteers and officials and become a more vibrant organisation, among other benefits.

If your club or association is interested in developing an All Abilities team, club or competition, feel free to read the resources and case studies below for some inspiration. Or you can enquire about running Inclusion NetSetGo. Alternatively, you can contact Netball Victoria’s Inclusion Officer for further information.

Inclusion NetSetGo

If you are a teacher or education provider and are looking for a program activity for a group to complete over a period of time, we offer an Inclusion NetSetGo program.

The Inclusion NetSetGo Program has been developed as a modified program for junior boys and girls, and teaches participants key netball development skills with activities using modified equipment and games based on their age and ability.  It also provides children with an enjoyable and safe environment where they experience personal achievement, enhanced self-esteem, social cooperation and skill development.

To be eligible for the Inclusion NetSetGO program, schools and community-based organisations will need to provide proof of Public Liability Insurance. Netball Associations and Clubs may also apply.

For more information regarding Inclusion NetSetGo, please email: NetSetGO@netballvic.com.au or call 03 9321 2246
