Cycling Victoria is pleased to introduce the All Abilities Class to the 2014 Victorian Schools Cycling Championships. This new class has been specificually developed to encourage students with intellectual disabilities to participate in cycling.
The All Abilities class will be part of all rounds of the Road series between late July to mid October. There is some equipment available for students to loan while competing in the events; please contact Cycling Victoria if equipment is needed.
The All Abilities class is open to any studen aged between 10 and 18, from speciallist or mainstream schools, who have an intellectual disability. All ages will ride at the same time in a modified competition format, and all participants will receive a prize; event entry cost is $20 per student.
Cycling Victoria is open to requests from schools to hold coaching clinics/come-and-try opportunities for students during school time in the lead up to the Championships.
