Supported by Blind Sports Victoria, this is an opportunity for people who are blind or who have a vision impairment to enjoy square dancing with others in a friendly and social environment, every second Friday throughout the year.
We are a group of people who are blind, have low vision and sighted that meet on the first, third and fifth Friday of each month to square dance.
You may ask what is Square Dancing? Well, you may say that it’s a contact sport! It’s very good exercise with walking to music being a main movement and lots of laughter (laughter has recently been prescribed as a wonderful medicine)!
We don’t dance at the highest level but you won’t find a club that has more fun.
We welcome anyone to come and learn.
